T he
Fall Soccer season runs from early August to early November
in most age groups. Hickory/Fountain Green Recreation
Council (HFG) offers  a
coed clinic program for 4 year olds (U05) & 5 year olds
(U06), 6 year olds (U7) and 7 year olds (U8) boys and girls
age groups. Starting at under 9 through under 18 age
groups, our teams play in age group specific, boy’s and
girl’s leagues with other Recreation Council Programs. In
addition, the Hickory-Fountain Green Lazers Soccer Club (LSC)
holds tryouts for travel teams for experienced players U8
and older. The clinic program is held at Fountain Green
Elementary School and Prospect Mill Park with Saturday games
and one weekday evening practice. The U9 and older teams
will practice and play games at Hickory Park and Hickory
Elementary, as well as other Northern Region Soccer League
sites. Games will typically be held on Saturdays with 1-2
weekly practice sessions.
